Health & Safety Update

The COVID-19 mask mandate has been lifted in several jurisdictions however,  we still encourage the use of face masks, gloves, sanitizers and practicing social distancing whenever possible.
HELP STAY SAFE WHILE HAVING A TECHNICIAN IN YOUR HOME
  • When you open the door for the technician, if available use a face mask. Continue to wear your face mask until the technician has left your home. Remember never touch your face mask without first washing and/or sanitizing your hands.
  • Make sure the area(s) where the technician will work is free and clear of items or clutter to ensure that social distancing will be possible to practice.
  • When signing your invoice and paying for your service, if possible, use your own pen and/or wear gloves. Remember do not touch your face, mouth, nose or eyes.
  • Wash your hands and sanitize any area(s) that the technician came in contact with immediately after the technician leaves.

Fun Facts

ENVIRONMENTALLY FREINDLY

Did you know that there are chemicals in HVAC-R equipment that are dangerous to the environment?  There are federal, state and local jurisdiction laws that govern the proper use and disposal of equpiment that use these chemicals.  Our technicians are trained to properly use and dispose of equipment that use these chemicals.  We care about the environment and protecting its future.

VENTILATION

Your HVAC system isn’t just responsible for heating and cooling, it also ventilates your home. Proper ventilation helps to circulate and purify your home’s indoor air. Forced air systems pass air in your home through a filter to keep pollutants at bay and other systems, such as heat pumps, often rely on internal fans and other built-in mechanisms to create proper ventilation.

THERMOSTATS

Installing a programmable thermostat can save a home owner approximately 10% on heating and cooling bills.

MAINTENANCE

Maintain your HVAC system to get the best use out of it. An HVAC system should be inspected at least twice a year. Once before the hotter months and once before the cooler months.

ALLERGENS

1/6 of allergy sufferers can directly tie their symptoms to fungi, bacteria and dust in their HVAC systems and ductwork.

DEBRIS/VEGETATION

Vegetation should be kept at least 4 feet away from any outdoor heating and cooling unit in order to prevent damage. Debris and other items should be kept at least 4 feet away from any indoor heating and cooling unit to prevent damage.

ENERGY EFFICIENT

Newer, more modern HVAC units often allow homeowners to save money on energy bills due to the fact that they are more energy efficient.
